As Proverbs 18:10 says “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”  Lord God, in your name we pray for refuge and strength, believing the power of your name and the extensive effectiveness of your saving grace.  We pray for those seeking refuge and strength in our nation.  May they hear of you and see your glory.  May your people be channels of mercy, grace, and truth to light the way.  We ask in your powerful name, Amen.
