Lord, as we approach the halfway point of this campaign, we pray again for the news media. So often, we can be jaded and cynical in our view of their work. Forgive us for our hard hearts. Today, we pray for reporters, researchers, broadcasters and producers. Help them as they do their part to support our democracy. We especially pray that you would help them to see and hear the things that are important for us to see and hear during this election season. Help Manitobans to hear your voice and see your truth in the election reporting for the duration of the campaign. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
