Proverbs 11:14 CSB
Without guidance, a people will fall, but with many counsellors there is deliverance.
Heavenly Father, today we pray for every person who has put their name forward to serve the people of British Columbia. Give our candidates strength for the demanding weeks ahead and protect their families from the pressures of public life. May they campaign with honesty, integrity and respect. Give them courage to speak what they genuinely believe, humility to listen to the people they hope to represent, and wisdom to understand the responsibilities of public office. Raise up leaders who desire to serve rather than simply to be served. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
