Hon. Christine Tell, Regina Wascana Plains

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the privilege to pray for our leaders. We thank you especially for Hon. Christine Tell. You have created her for such a time as this. We are excited to see how her God-given personality and talents will bring positive change to this province. We pray that you would meet all of her needs and bless her and her family. Lord, we ask that you help her to face any challenges that come her way, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Born and raised in Regina, Christine earned her psychiatric nursing diploma from Wascana Institute before graduating from the Saskatchewan Police College. Christine served on the Saskatoon Police Service for three years before joining the Regina city police. Christine served in the Regina Police Association and the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers. In 2007, she was elected president of the Regina Police Association and was the first woman in Canada to lead a major police association. Christine was first elected MLA for Regina Wascana Plains in the November 2007 provincial election. She was re-elected in 2011, 2016 and 2020 and she currently serves as Minister of Corrections, Policing, and Public Safety and is the Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency. Christine is married to Gary Massier and is the proud mother of Regan and Cameron.
