Hon. Don Morgan, Saskatoon Southeast

Lord, we pray today for Hon Don Morgan. We thank you for him and the diligent work he puts into the many portfolios he holds. We pray for wisdom in all these areas. May he get ample rest and times of refreshing and renewing of spirit, soul and body. Keep him and his family safe and healthy. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Don Morgan was born, raised and educated in Saskatoon. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (College of Law) in 1978 and practiced law in Saskatoon from 1979 to 1988. Between 1988 and 1992, he was chair and CEO of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission and was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1990. He practiced law in Saskatoon from 1992 until 2007. Don also served on the Saskatoon Public School Board from 1999 to 2003, including a term as board chair. Don was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in November 2003. The former Deputy Premier currently serves as Saskatchewan’s Minister of Crown Investments Corporation and Minister responsible for all major Crown corporations, Minister of labour relations and workplace safety and Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board. Don and his wife Sandy reside in the Rosewood area of Saskatoon.
