Janice Morley-Lecomte is the elected member of the Legislative Assembly for Seine River. She also serves as Minister of Mental Health and Community Wellness. She and her husband own a small business located in Seine River. Janice has also worked and volunteered in the social services field for over 25 years. She has volunteered for the Parents Association and the board at her children’s school; volunteered for CFS in her community; facilitated outreach groups; sat on the Osborne House Board and volunteered for other agencies within Winnipeg. Janice graduated from the University of Manitoba. After completing her post-secondary education, she worked in a domestic violence shelter for many years. Janice was trained through Manitoba Justice as a Protection Order Designate to assist women and their families in obtaining a Protection Order. She has specialized training in addiction counselling and management.
