Hon. Jeremy Harrison, Meadow Lake

Father, we thank you today for the Honourable Jeremy Harrison. We thank you for his commitment to service and for his love of his community and his province. We ask that you would increase his understanding in all he does, may he have an abundance of wisdom from you. Guide his steps we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jeremy Harrison grew up in the Meadow Lake area and went on to complete an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Canadian History from the University of Alberta, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and a Juris Doctor (Law) Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Jeremy was elected to Parliament on June 28, 2004, and at the age of 26 became one of the youngest Canadians ever to sit in the House of Commons. Jeremy was elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in November 2007. He is the youngest Canadian ever to have been elected to both the House of Commons and a provincial Legislative Assembly. On February 2, 2018, Jeremy was appointed Minister of Export and Trade Development and Minister of Immigration and Careers Training and in 2020 he was also named Minister responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan and Tourism Saskatchewan. Jeremy and his wife Alaina have one son, MacGregor and one daughter, Finnley.
