Hon. Jeremy Harrison, Meadow Lake

Father thank you for the Honourable Jeremy Harrison. We thank you for his commitment to serve Saskatchewan and for the thoughtfulness he brings to his responsibilities in the Education portfolio. This is an important responsibility for our province in these days and for the future of our citizens and our economy. With that in mind we ask that your purposes would be fulfilled in the education system. We also ask that you provide protection, guidance, wisdom and creativity in great measure to Minister Harrison and to his team. Amen

Jeremy Harrison grew up in the Meadow Lake area and went on to complete an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Canadian History from the University of Alberta, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and a Juris Doctor (Law) Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Jeremy was elected to Parliament on June 28, 2004, and at the age of 26 became one of the youngest Canadians ever to sit in the House of Commons. Jeremy was elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in November 2007. He is the youngest Canadian ever to have been elected to both the House of Commons and a provincial Legislative Assembly. On February 2, 2018, Jeremy was appointed Minister of Export and Trade Development and Minister of Immigration and Careers Training and in 2020 he was also named Minister responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan and Tourism Saskatchewan. Jeremy and his wife Alaina have one son, MacGregor and one daughter, Finnley.
