Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for the Honourable Muhammad Yaseen. Thank you for him and his service and love for his community. We pray that you would give him strong relationships that will support and encourage him in the most difficult of times. Bless him in his work, and give the rest he needs. We pray for your blessing to be on him Lord. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Muhammad Yaseen was elected in 2019 and now serves as Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism. Prior to serving, Mr. Yaseen worked in the oil industry for almost 40 years. An engineer by profession, he is experienced in reservoir/joint ventures engineering, and he has held advisory roles for processing, transportation, contracts and projects. He holds a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering from the University of Wyoming, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Calgary and a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Yaseen is an active member of his community, volunteering with the Canadian Red Cross and the Pakistan Canada Association for many years. Mr. Yaseen was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in November 2012 by then Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, the Honourable Donald S. Ethell. He enjoys reading, walking and volunteering and speaks English, Urdu and Punjabi.
