Heavenly Father, today we pray for MPP Sylvia Jones. Lord, you have called her to many important roles in governing our province and we thank you for her willing heart and hands to serve you in these tasks. Bless her family as she must often be away from them and knit them together in love and unity. Protect her in her travels and we ask you to give her strength, courage and wisdom to fulfil all that her roles require of her. Amen.
Sylvia Jones has served as the Member of Provincial Parliament Dufferin-Caledon since 2007. Currently, she is serving as the Solicitor General and previously she served as Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Before that, she was the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport. Sylvia also served as the Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition from September 2015 to May 2018. Sylvia has lived in Orangeville for over 30 years with her husband David. They are proud parents of two children.
