Father God, today we thank you for the Hon. Todd Smith as newly appointed Minister of Government and Consumer Services and Government House Leader. We speak blessings over him and pray for Your hand of peace and protection to be on him and on his wife and daughters. Thank you for his willingness to serve and for the experience that he brings to Cabinet. Heavenly Father, help him to be a voice of wisdom and understanding. Help him to seek wise council so that he can fulfil his responsibilities with excellence. As Governmental House Leader, Lord, help him to discern priorities and wise timing in the house as the leaders seek to serve the people of this great province. May his service be marked with honesty and integrity. In Jesus matchless name we pray. Amen.
Prior to entering politics, Todd was an institution in morning radio at Quinte Broadcasting stations for more than 16 years, where he held the News Director position for CJBQ, Mix 97 and Rock 107. Todd was also the play-by-play announcer on Belleville Bulls telecasts on the OHL Tonight on TV Cogeco.
