God, we come to You in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and intercede for the Honourable Vijay Thanigasalam, who represents the people of Scarborough—Rouge Park and serves the province of Ontario as Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions. Before we lift up this important ministry and responsibility, we pray for the protection of Vijay’s mind, heart, and soul. Galatians 6:1 instructs us to gently restore those who need restoration while also guarding ourselves against temptation. We ask for Your continued protection over Minister Thanigasalam as he handles sensitive and important issues amid some of the most challenging circumstances facing our generation. Lord, grant him wisdom, discernment, and compassion as he seeks meaningful solutions to the challenges facing our province. We thank You for Vijay’s willingness to serve in this role during this season. Watch over him and his family, and strengthen and sustain them. We pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
