MLA: Gary Holman – Saanich North and the Islands (Demo)

Heavenly Father, we bring before You Gary Holman, MLA for Saanich North and the Islands and Opposition Spokesperson for Democratic Reform, Deputy Environment, Fisheries and B.C. Ferries. We pray MLA Holman would be used by You to bring harmony between factions. May You grant him the ability to discern the truth in various situations and to persuade others to see that truth. Bless him with wisdom and a willingness to persevere. We pray for good health for him and his family. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

Gary Holman was elected as the MLA for Saanich North and the Islands in May 2013.

Gary serves as Opposition Spokesperson for Democratic Reform, Deputy Environment, Fisheries and B.C. Ferries.

Gary was a consulting economist for over 25 years working on projects such as the Nisga’a Treaty and a Protected Areas Strategy for BC.

Gary served as Salt Spring Island’s Capital Regional District Director for six years, helping to establish the island’s first public transit system. He has been involved in the land trust movement in B.C for many years and has worked to establish coalitions between environmental groups to conserve Salt Spring’s drinking water and to protect thousands of acres of green space.

Gary lives on Salt Spring Island, has two daughters, Erin and Amber, and a stepson Owen.
