Lord, as a brand-new MLA, elected just this spring, today we pray that you would grant insight and wisdom to MLA George Chow as you have called him to serve the riding of Vancouver-Fraserview. Grant him integrity as he seeks to represent the views and best interests of not only those in his local riding, but also as he seeks to understand the needs and desires of all citizens in the province of British Columbia. May he lean upon and learn from his many years of experience as an engineer, his two terms on Vancouver City Council, and his numerous service opportunities within a diversity of community organizations to become an effective representative within our provincial legislature. Grant him a humble spirit and discerning heart as he seeks to utilize all of these experiences to serve effectively within our provincial government in Victoria. Blessing him and his family richly in this coming year. Amen.
