Lord, thank you for Greg Kyllo, a family man who understands the importance of a responsible Government for the people of BC from the bottom up. Please continue to give him innovative avenues of service for the people you have given him, using his great experience and expertise. Bring unity to the group of people who work closely with him. Give him wisdom and discernment to make wise choices and bring a strong economy to his rural area of Shuswap. Please bless his family.
Greg Kyllo was elected as the MLA for Shuswap in 2013 and re-elected in 2017. Greg has served as the Parliamentary Secretary for the BC Jobs Plan to the Minister of Jobs, Tourism, and Skills Training, and a member of Treasury Board, Cabinet Committee on Core Review, Cabinet Committee on Strong Economy, Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Premier’s Priority and Planning Committee.
Prior to being elected as MLA, Greg was the President and CEO of Twin Anchors Marine/TA Structures for 24 years.
His interest in politics began after watching his father, an active member in local politics, serve as both councillor and mayor of Taylor. Greg sat on the Sicamous District Council in 2011 and was appointed deputy mayor. He was also the chair of the Finance Committee and served on the Sicamous Economic Development Board.
Greg and his wife Georgina continue to make Sicamous their home. They have four daughters and six grandchildren.
