MLA: Honourable Suzanne Anton – Vancouver-Fraserview – Minister of Justice (Demo)

Father as Honorable Suzanne Anton sits as the Minister Of Justice and Attorney General, we pray that You would give her wisdom and revelation for each decision that she must make. We ask that You would also lead, guide and give insights to her as she seeks truth and justice that will continue to uphold those values that cause our province to prosper in all ways. May You provide her times of refreshing and encouragement with those closest to her this Spring and Summer. In Jesus’ name, we pray! Amen.

Suzanne Anton was elected MLA for Vancouver-Fraserview on May 14, 2013, and was appointed Attorney General and Minister of Justice on June 10, 2013.

Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Suzanne served as a Vancouver City Councillor from 2005 to 2011, and was a Vancouver Park Board commissioner from 2002 to 2005.

During her time on Council, she sat on the boards of TransLink and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, and was vice-chair of the city’s Planning and Environment Committee and a member of the Heritage Commission.

Prior to politics, Suzanne was a math teacher and a Crown counsel. She received a degree in Mathematics from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of British Columbia.

Suzanne and her husband Olin live in Vancouver and have three children, Elizabeth, Robert and Angus.
