MLA Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk, Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville

Father we bring Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk before you and we ask you Lord to move in her heart and in her life. We ask that you would stir up the giftings and the desires you have placed within her heart. We ask that you would give her wisdom and guidance in fulfilling her duty as she serves as Parliamentary Secretary for Settlement Services and Ukrainian Evacuees. As chair of the Government Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations and the Skilled Trades caucus and as member of the Skills for Jobs Task Force plus two regional caucuses. We ask that you would bless Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk, her husband, and there 2 children. Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk was elected in 2019. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, she owned and operated a small business in Vegreville for close to 35 years. From 1981 to 1984 she worked with a private insurance adjustment firm. She has been an avid volunteer and active member of the Vegreville business community. Between 2017 and 2019 she served as secretary of the Vegreville Rotary Club and as the liaison to the economic development director with the Vegreville & District Chamber of Commerce. From 2016 to 2019 she was a member of the Vegreville Economic Development Board. She served as secretary of an electoral district association from January 2016 to February 2019, when she was voted president. She studied at the University of Calgary and also at MacEwan University. She holds a journeyman certificate for beautician/hairstylist and a diploma in insurance adjustment. She and her husband have two children.
