Jackie Tegart was first elected in 2013 and re-elected as the MLA for Fraser-Nicola in 2017. She is the Caucus Chair for the Official Opposition and is a Member of the Special Committee to Appoint a Chief Electoral Officer. Jackie has four children and nine grandchildren with her late husband, Gordon, who lost his battle with cancer in 2009. Jackie and Gordon met in Ashcroft, where she raised her family and continues to live today.
