Lord, today we pray for the MLA for Fraser-Nicola, Jackie Tegart. You have called her to serve not only the people from her riding, but also to utilize her extensive community involvement and school board experience to benefit others in her role as caucus chair for the official opposition, as well as service on various select standing committees.
Grant Jackie insight, wisdom and discernment as she considers the best way to use her background and experience to provide pertinent advice and counsel regarding various practices and policies in BC. Guide her thoughts and decisions as she participates in provincial issues and topics, but also as she supports her local constituents.
Bless her with the strength and energy required in this significant role in public service, even while she strives to still be available and present for her four children and nine grandchildren. Grant Jackie comfort and strength as she continues to serve in political service while carrying on without her beloved husband, Gordon. Grant her peace, and bless her with a deep sense of your presence at all times. Amen.
Jackie Tegart was first elected in 2013 and re-elected as the MLA for Fraser-Nicola in 2017. She is the Caucus Chair for the Official Opposition and is a Member of the Special Committee to Appoint a Chief Electoral Officer.
