MLA Jennifer Johnson, Lacombe-Ponoka

Father, today we bring before you MLA Jennifer Johnson. We pray that you would guide her today, may she know the right things to do as you show her. We also pray that you would give her the compassion and grace she needs to shine brightly in all she does. Be with her and her family, may you guide them and be near to them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jennifer Johnson was elected May 29, 2023, as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the constituency of Lacombe-Ponoka. Mrs. Johnson is the owner and operator of a successful prairie fruit orchard, which has been in business since 2009, and was previously a registered nurse. Mrs. Johnson is extremely active in her community, and she has been a director for the Bentley Agricultural Society since 2008. She also served as the director and president of Canadian Cherry Producers Inc., chair of the Bentley and Area Multi-use Facility Building Society, and club leader for the Bentley 4-H Multiclub. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, and is married with four children. Mrs. Johnson graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor of science in nursing. She enjoys spending time in her fruit orchard, listening to music and participating in agricultural advocacy.
