MLA John Rustad, Nechako Lakes

Lord, we are grateful today for MLA John Rustad. Thank you for his service and his heart for this great province. We ask that you be a felt presence in his daily work, guide his hand and decisions and help him find calm and certainty. Bless him and his family today. In Jesus Name, Amen

John Rustad was re-elected MLA of Nechako Lakes in 2020. Since 2017, John has served as the Official Opposition critic for Forest, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations. In the 41st Parliament, he  was appointed to the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders, and Private Bills.. Prior to his election as MLA, John worked in the forest industry for more than 20 years. In 1995, he formed Western Geographic Information Systems Inc., a consulting service. John was also elected as a school trustee in 2002. Born and raised in Prince George, John has lived in northern B.C. all his life; he and his wife Kim now live in Cluculz Lake.
