MLA: Leonard Eugene Krog – Nanaimo (Demo)

Jesus, We pray that Your blessings of peace, love and joy continue throughout the New Year for MLA: Leonard Krog and his family. We pray as he carries our his duties as Opposition Critic for the Attorney General that his stable influence, keen insight and sound honest judgements will help build a strong province with good values. We ask You for fresh vision as the New Year poses new challenges for our province and that he meets each one with Your wisdom and understanding. Leonard Krog was re-elected as the MLA for Nanaimo in May 2013.

Leonard serves as Opposition Critic for the Attorney General.

Born in Nanaimo and raised in Coombs, Leonard is strongly rooted in his community. Whether it’s homelessness or health care, Leonard works hard to bring forth the local issues that impact his constituents and fights for their rights in the legislature.

Having served as the director and president of the Mid-Island Consumer Services Co-operative, chair of the United Way for Nanaimo and on numerous other community organizations, Leonard has always shown an unwavering commitment to his community.

An avid and eclectic reader, Leonard enjoys reading everything from history and biography to environmental literature. His favourite novelists include Margaret Atwood, Charles Dickens and Margaret Drabble.

A practicing lawyer in Nanaimo since 1980, Leonard works with his wife Sharon who is also a lawyer.

Leonard and Sharon have two children, Jessica and Parker, and enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren, Portia, Archer and Alasdair.
