MLA Matt Love, Saskatoon Eastview

Father we thank you that you are Lord of all and we thank you for the leaders that you put over us. Today, we bring one of those leaders, MLA Matt Love to you. We ask that you would give him fresh ideas of how to collaborate and stand up for those who need help. Guide him and use him to be a voice for unity and purpose. We pray for your blessing to be on him. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

 

Matt Love was elected MLA for Saskatoon Eastview in 2020. He is the opposition critic for Municipal Affairs, Tourism, Seniors, Ethics and Democracy, and Parks, Culture and Sport. He is also the opposition Deputy Caucus Chair. Matt and his wife Emma live in Eastview where they are raising their three children. Prior to his election, Matt was a teacher with Saskatoon Public Schools. In 2014, he received a CBC Saskatchewan Future 40 Award for his leadership and innovation as an educator and coach. Matt was the teacher of a unique program that explored Arts Education, Social Studies and English with a focus on social justice and current events. Matt also contributed to his school community as a GSA facilitator, senior football coach, and leader in other areas of athletics.
