MLA: Mike Morris – Prince George-Mackenzie (Demo)

Lord God, we call on Your righteous power to be a help and a guide to MLA Mike Morris in the job he is doing. Lord give strength, wisdom, and encouragement to him day by day. Leadership positions in our society are very important and we thank You for his commitment to serve our province. May You bless and keep he and his family safe and happy in their daily endeavours. Mike Morris was elected MLA for Prince George-Mackenzie on May 14, 2013.

Before being elected to the British Columbia Legislature, Mike had a 32-year career in the RCMP, retiring in 2005 as the Superintendent for the North District. Mike has also been an adjudicator and mediator with the Health Professions Review Board, has served on the Drug Benefit Council for BC since 2009, and is the Past President of the BC Trappers Association.

Mike has lived in Prince George for the past 17 years, and spent the majority of his RCMP career in northern communities. He and his wife Chris have been married for 35 years. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
