MLA Nicole Goehring, Edmonton-Castle Downs

Thank you, Father, for Nicole’s dedication to serving her community. She has served as the MLA for Edmonton-Castle Downs since 2015. Give her the strength and wisdom needed to fulfill her many roles in the legislature. We ask you to create in her a teachable and discerning
spirit with an ability to look at all sides presented. May she walk in integrity and along your paths of righteousness. May she fulfill the destiny you have for her. Bless her for her desire to give back to the community, long before she was elected. Amen.

Nicole Goehring was elected in 2015 and again in 2019; during her first term she served in the role of Government of Alberta’s Liaison to the Canadian Armed Forces and joined the Edmonton Salutes Committee. Ms. Goehring currently serves as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Goehring worked for close to a decade with Child and Family Services in various capacities, including as a caseworker, assessor and, most recently, as a court co-ordinator. She holds a diploma in social work from Grant MacEwan Community College (now known as MacEwan University).
