Jesus, we thank You for MLA: Pat Pimm and his desire to serve his province and its people as an MLA. We pray that You will be with him as he continues undergoing treatment for colon cancer. We agree in pray with those others all over British Columbia that You will restore him to complete health in order that he he can continue fulfilling his mandate as MLA for Peace River North that You have placed him in. May he be supernaturally encouraged by not only You but also his family and loved ones at this time. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Pat Pimm was re-elected to represent the riding of Peace River North on May 14, 2013, and served as Minister of Agriculture from June 2013 until April 2014.
Pat previously served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Northeast, was chair of the Northern Caucus and was a member on two Select Standing Committees: Aboriginal Affairs and Finance and Government Services. He has also served as a member of Treasury Board.
A lifelong resident of the Peace River region, he served as Councillor for the City of Fort St. John from 1993 to 2005. With 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he was co-chair of the BC Oil and Gas Conference in 2002 and 2005, bringing together industry stakeholders to identify further strategies and opportunities for economic development in British Columbia’s northeast region.
Pat is the former president of Alpha Controls Ltd., a company that provides construction, maintenance, and electrician services for numerous projects. He is also a past director and vice-president of the North Peace Construction Association.
Pat and his wife Jody have two daughters and two sons.
