MLA Rakhi Pancholi, Edmonton-Whitemud

Heavenly Father, we thank you for MLA Rakhi Pancholi today and ask that you would guide her today. We pray she would feel your presence with peace as she faces all of her duties and tasks that will come to her. Give her the courage she needs to do what you are calling her to do. We thank you for her and her family as well and all that they bring to their community. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Rakhi Pancholi was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Whitemud, on April 16, 2019. Prior to serving, Ms. Pancholi was a practising lawyer in Edmonton with a focus on labour/employment and education law. She has experience working with the Alberta School Boards Association and was a senior legislative consultant for Alberta Education. Ms. Pancholi has been very involved in volunteer organizations, including ParityYEG, the Canadian Bar Association, Humane Animal Rescue Team (HART), and the National Education Program Committee of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF). She has also volunteered her services as a lawyer with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. She and her husband, Owen, are raising their two young children in Edmonton. Big advocates of animal rescue and adoption, they currently own two large rescue dogs.
