MLA: Scott Hamilton – Delta North (Demo)

As we commit MLA: Scott Hamilton into Your love and care today, we give thanks for choosing him to represent the riding of Delta North where he has given much of himself in the past decade. Now as he takes on the new role in the British Columbia legislature as their representative, we pray You will grant him Your divine wisdom in all he sets out to accomplish. Bless Scott and his family with quality time with one another along with good health, happiness and safety. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Scott Hamilton was elected MLA for Delta North on May 14, 2013.

He currently serves on the Cabinet Committee on Strong Economy.

Prior to his election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Scott served on Delta Council for 10 years. Prior to this, Scott served as a Delta Parks, Recreation and Culture Commissioner, and chaired a task force that resulted in the installation of Delta’s first synthetic turf playing field at Mackie Park in North Delta.

Scott was a member of Delta Council during the negotiation process that resulted in the purchase of Burns Bog and its subsequent dedication as a conservancy area, and more recently, its Ramsar designation.

Scott has also served on and chaired a variety of Delta committees and task forces.
