Train up a child in the way he should go (Prov 22:6) Father, I thank you for your hand and call on Scott to govern, but with a passion for young people. I pray that the vigour of youth would stir up within him as he helps our province and his constituents reach their maximum potential. I pray that as you continue to reveal yourself to him he would look upwards and outwards and see the heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1) Let him feel your unending love for him, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Scott Johnston was elected to the Manitoba Legislature as the MLA for St. James on April 19, 2016 and re-elected in 2019 to represent the riding of Assiniboia. Scott and his wife Karen are life-long residents of St. James. They have three children all of whom are graduates of the St. James- Assiniboia School Division.
