Lord God thank you for the life of Toby Barrett. Lord Bless his many years of public service. Empower him with wisdom and insight as he serves you in the capacity of Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Natural resources and Forestry. Bless every relationship he has as Toby seeks to serve in this role. Cause him to have an encounter with you Lord. Bless his family and home life and cause them to come to know you Lord. We thank you and praise you for all that you are doing in and through Toby to advance your kingdom in Haldimand-Norfolk. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
First elected to the Ontario Legislature in June 1995, Toby was re-elected in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2014. In 1993, Toby was awarded the Canada 125 medal for outstanding community service. Toby is a life-long resident of Haldimand-Norfolk. He and his wife Cari live on the family farm and have three children – Shawn, Brett and Brittany. Before starting his career,Toby travelled in over 50 countries and has an abiding interest in antique cars, trucks and tractors.
