Lord, thank you for MLA Wab Kinew. Please give him your grace as he balances family life with his service to the Fort Rouge community and the province of Manitoba. Please give him your wisdom and understanding, strength and insight as he makes decisions for the constituency which he represents. Help him as he works in the best interest of the people he is called to serve. Amen.
Wab Kinew is the Leader of the Manitoba New Democratic Party and was re-elected to represent Fort Rouge in 2019. Before entering politics, he was a musician, broadcaster and university administrator, best known as a host of programming on CBC Radio an CBC Television. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg Collegiate and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Manitoba. Kinew is married to Lisa, a family physician who practices medicine at an inner-city clinic, and has two sons from a previous relationship.
