Dear Lord, as we wrap up this first month of the new year, may this year be a year of new beginnings and of hitting the reset button in the life of MPP Gilles Bisson. Jesus, You said “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. ” I pray that You would grant Gilles a deeper understanding of the overcoming power that exists in You. Your Word Lord reminds us to humble ourselves before You and You will lift us up. I ask humbly Heavenly Father that You would lift Gilles up and bless him and his family with courage, strength and faith in You. Amen.
First elected in 1990 in the former riding of Cochrane South, Gilles Bisson has proudly served the people of Timmins for 28 years.
Currently MPP Gilles Bisson is the House Leader for Ontario’s Official Opposition. A lifelong resident of Timmins, Gilles and wife Murielle have made the city their home for the last 41 years, and are the proud parents of daughters Julie Bisson-Gardner and Natalie Bisson-Wakeford, as well as devoted grandparents of Nathaniel, Victoria, Elissa and Eva.
