MPP Goldie Ghamari, Carleton


Father, we bring Goldie Ghamari, the representative of the Carleton riding to you today. Make her a blessing to the people of Ontario as she serves them using the leadership skills you have given her. We pray that she will look to you for guidance in her decisions, that her decisions would be those that bless the people and honour you. We pray that you would surround her with a team of wise and good people. Bless her and her family with health and the strength to keep serving our province. Amen. (Psalm 46:1)

Goldie is a small business owner, an international trade lawyer (called to the bar in 2013), a community volunteer, a youth mentor and a proud life-long Ontarian. She was elected as Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Carleton in 2018 and is a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Her parents immigrated to Canada in 1986 from Iran when she was a toddler. Her father comes from a farming family and is an electrician, her mother works at a charity for isolated senior citizens. Goldie’s husband Wayne teaches statistics at Carleton University. Goldie is the founder of her own law practice as well as an international trade and public affairs legal advisor.
