Father God, at the very beginning You possessed WISDOM as You crafted this beautiful and diverse creation. Your Scripture tells us that knowledge, sound judgement, understanding and power are some of the components of Wisdom and that, by Wisdom, rulers make laws that are just. Father God, we thank You that MPP Jessica Bell’s heart passionately seeks after justice. Mighty Creator, in this 2019 beginning time and onward, we earnestly pray that You will draw close to MPP Jessica Bell. Fill her with Your creative Wisdom as she serves the diverse community of University Rosedale. Let Your Wisdom enable her to find ways to work in harmony with all parties in the Legislature so that the government as a whole, may serve the people of Ontario with justice that leads to peace and joy. Amen.
Jessica is the founding executive director of TTCriders, fighting to improve Toronto transit. She’s been a lecturer at Ryerson University, director of the California Food & Justice Coalition and an advocate for environmental justice. She’s received several leadership awards, including Toronto Community Foundation’s Vital People Award. Jessica lives in University–Rosedale with her partner and two children.
