MPP Ross Romano, Sault Ste. Marie

Lord I thank you for MPP Romano Ross, I pray that You would bless him and his family and keep them safe. I pray that You would use his voice to stand up for truth and righteousness. I pray that You would give him wisdom and direction. I pray Psalm 16:7 I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. In Jesus name, Amen.

Ross Romano was elected to the Ontario Legislature on June 1 st 2017 during a provincial by-election. He was then again re-elected during the June 2018 election.  Ross previously served as a City Councillor for Ward 6.

As MPP, Ross is a sitting member for the Standing Committee on Justice Policy while also serving as the PC Opposition Critic for Northern Jobs and the Ring of Fire.

Born and raised on his family’s farm, Ross attended Algoma University before graduating from Windsor Law School. Prior to his political career, Ross served as a lawyer at O’Neill DeLorenzi Mendes specializing in civil and criminal litigation.

Ross is a former Chair of the Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Association, Rotary Club, and coached in the Sault Youth Soccer Association. When he is not cheering on the Soo Greyhounds, Ross can be found volunteering around the community, working in his garage, or spending time with his wife Heather and their three children.
