Lord, today we pray for our Premier of BC, the Honorable John Horgan. As the leader of our provincial government, John carries the weight of a huge responsibility to govern with justice and equity. We thank you, Father, for his passion and desire to be of service for the future well being and prosperity of this entire province.
After many years of extensive service in our legislature, you have called John not only to continue to serve his local riding of Langford-Juan de Fuca, but also to provide significant direction and insightful leadership in our provincial government. We give thanks, Lord, for his faithful and diligent service in various capacities over the past 13 years, and we pray that you would grant him discernment as he considers policies and laws, programs and innovative direction to bless the people of BC.
Bless John in this coming year with all the health, energy and wisdom he will require in this very demanding role that you have called him to. We thank you, Father, for the tremendous passion, energy and talents you have given John; may he use all of this to benefit many people in this province. In Jesus name, we pray for John and his family, and ask that you would protect and richly bless them. Amen.
